Leah Albright-Byrd is an activist, author, and artist who is best known for her love for Jesus and her passion for storytelling. Whether by song, speech, or pen, she blends clinical and spiritual truths to help others gain true freedom and to invoke community transformation. As a part of a commitment to helping the hurting heal, Ms. Albright-Byrd founded Bridget’s Dream in 2011; it was a California-based organization that provided services to child and adult survivors of human trafficking. During her time as a CEO, she became a national voice for the cause which included lobbying and promoting legislative change. Over the years, she has been blessed to make various media appearances to educate and inspire the public to join the fight against human trafficking. She was honored to be featured in three documentaries, the Oprah Winfrey show, BET, Katie Couric, was the subject of an Emmy-award winning investigative interview and has received congressional honor for her contributions to the fight against human trafficking. She now continues her advocacy part-time through curriculum development and consultation in partnership with nonprofit and government organizations that serve at-risk populations. In her free time, she can be found in Dallas, Texas spending time with her fur-baby Charlie Rose, strumming a guitar, or enjoying her photography business
